As the snow slowly melts and the first buds of spring start
to appear, Massachusetts farmers turn to the trees for that sweet amber nectar
that makes pancakes scrumptious. March is Massachusetts Maple Month and maple sugaring events are already underway. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and
Recreation is hosting maple
sugar days at parks across the Commonwealth. Head out to one of these events to learn
first-hand how maple sugar is made and “tap” into
this annual sugar rush!
